Is-It-Down.org answers one question: is it down for everyone, or just you? You type an address, our servers request it, and you see whether the site answered, with the HTTP code and the response time.

For popular games, apps and streaming services we also run a check in the background, collect problem reports from visitors and write down fixes that fit that service, such as how to clear the Discord cache or which Steam error codes mean a login problem. Every service page links the official status page and support.

The pages are written by hand and checked against official documentation where it exists. Where an error code comes from community reports rather than an official page, the text says so. We leave out banks and payment apps on purpose.
